Sondra Bernstein has spent over twenty years dedicated to the hospitality business. With a passion for food and wine, the trip from Philadelphia to Sonoma County was inevitable. In 1997, she opened the girl and the fig restaurant in Sonoma County. She uses products from the many local farmers, ranchers, cheese-makers and, of course, grape growers & vintners in this bountiful landscape. Now you don't have to travel to Sonoma, CA to taste these delicious products. This girl has transformed the fig into an array of delicious jams, confits, vinaigrettes and chutneys for you to enjoy.
Just like a plump ripe fig, the girl & the fig products are fresh, healthy, and bursting with flavor. We offer fig jam, compote, vinaigrette and vinegar and sea salts all made with local ingredients from California. Tasting one of these products is like taking a piece of Sonoma, CA, home with you.
